1st Kuwait Small and Medium Oil Industries Expo 2009 at Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, 13th-14tb DEC, 2009

Introduction:

The aim of the Small and Medium Oil Industries Expo is to establish the Small and Medium Industries managed by private sector which are related to Oil hence participates in supporting the national economy, industry and employment Papers and offers from local and international experts in the conference to enrich oil industry sector by some industrial ideas which are applicable in Kuwait.

Small or Medium Oil industries are defined on the basis of investments capital, which should be about One to Ten million Kuwaiti Dinars (1-10 Million KD) as operational capital.

Variety of income resources became a must inside Kuwait so as to know and make known some of these industries by specialized authorities, local and international, which could make an important turn in the track of activating Kuwaiti Industries.

This specialized conference and expo serves to gather experiences in the oil sector by gaining first hand experience with specialized oil industry projects and by the cooperation in the modern technology in this field.

It was a courteous attitude from the Minister of Oil , Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, as he supported this event through his sponsorship and cared to make it effective in the way that serves to give a push to the oil industry.
